Have heard nothing but awesome things about this place from people who live around here. Finally got the chance to check it out..ordered 45 minutes before closing. Two large pizzas (28 slices). And it was unanimous...it was the worst pizza we have ever had!! Watched them take it out of the over and then delivered 7 minutes down the road and pizza was cold!! Both pizzas we're bland and with hardly any sauce, very dry. Ordered extra pepperoni, and got two pieces of pepperoni on each slice. The banana peppers were good on the second pizza, however, this is the only thing we could say for it. To add salt to the wound the total for these two pizzas was $100!! I guess you never know until you try...now we know. What a disappointment..
DiCarlos pizza is and always has been fantastic. It is made with the same quality products and recipe. I have not had it since 1984. I came home and went to DiCarlos and it was exactly like the pizza that has been around for almost 70 years.
Great place if you just want a slice or two without getting a whole pie. Whole pies are also sold.
Cash only place...atm on site...great prices...pizza was the bomb!!!!
I love Dicarlo's!!! Especially Wellsburg and Downtown Wheeling. Wellsburg has the best mushrooms ever!
